Lotus

En août 2015 j'ai été invitée par la maison d'édition TakeCaire avec 3 autres designers à travailler au Caire pendant un mois. Sur place j'ai collaboré avec un artisan qui travaille le cuivre pour mettre au point une collection de bijoux inspirée de la fleur de lotus.

I was invited by TakeCaire in August 2015 to work one month in partnership with different craftpeople.
The lotus flower is very present in the collective Egyptian imagination as symbol of the sun, birth and abundance. Simplified and refined, the motif comes in assembled or folded modules to draw a collection of elegant adornments in brass.
